Lovena's Story
I was the only Junior that graduated in the first class at Layton High school. I'm married to Jim Bills, we have five sons, one daughter, a couple of foster sons, we have 14 grandchildren from our child and their other best half's.
I worked in Central Supply then went into the Endoscope department in the hospital, which I truly loved! Until I was force to retired due to battling cancer.
Which am a Nevada test side survivor. I had cancer in various parts of my body, thanks to God and MD Anderson Cancer Center, in Huston, Texas. I'm alive and kicking.
I belong to Beta Sigma PHI, Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth. Which I truly love these organizations, and the work we do together to help others.
We have retired in Southern California where I was raised till, moved to Nevada, then moved to Layton, Utah. I have always loved the ocean and am happy to be able to visit it any time I want now again.

I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right..
We have loads of Grandchildren and spend time basically with two that we are living with at present
The weather here agrees, with my health problems. Dry and warm, guess am not a duck or someone that can handle to cold weather much, especially if it is wet and cold.
My husband just recently has gotten over colon cancer and is a survivor n0w too of cancer, yet it will be still be some time before he has gotten his full strength back, glad he is still alive and we're dealing with past cancer than still fighting it. He to is retired and we both enjoy walking on the beach, or in the woods together, camping in out trailer when we can. Playing with the grandchildren that come around us.
